“Jave”s Encounter with the Little Prince”

After leaving the sixth planet the little prince continue traveling until he got tired and found a very unusual kind of planet. When he went nearer he was surprised to see it was book shaped planet. Then he decided to take a rest on the planet and as his feet lands to the ground a young lady approached him. “Good day young man. What do you need to do in my planet?” said the young girl whom the little prince thought owns the planet. Then the little prince look around and answered” Good day miss, I am in my way to the planets of humans and on my way I have already visited six planets and I am a little tired and I would like to take a short nap for a while.” “Then you are very much welcome to sleep on my little tent. Please feel free and do not hesitate to ask for assistance if you do not feel comfortable.” the girl answered with a simple smile. The little girl then prepared the small bed inside her small tent and some cold drinks. While she was busy fixing the bed the little prince interrupted and asked “What are you getting busy within this very unusual planet.” The girl did not answer him and left him in the tent saying “I am sorry am really busy mister. I still need to surf my references for my study.” And as expected, the little prince did not let go of the question and still went on asking and followed her outside. Getting irritated she showed the little prince a bunch of books in a shelf and said “Young man this are the references I was talking about. By the way I want to introduce myself. Creatures who have already visited my planet me call me young scientist but my real name is Mhizelie Jave but I want you to call me in by pet name Jave.” Then the little prince said “That is not what I am asking I was asking of what are the things you where doing while I did not reach this planet?” Then Jave smiled and said “Like what I have told you earlier I will be busy surfing my references. It just means that since the day I left the planet where I was born and transferred to this planet I was busy studying.” “Busy studying what?” the little prince ask looking at the bunch of books around him. “Of course as a scientist with little experience I just observe my surroundings and being sensitive I get curios and wanted to study about those things I do not know yet. Those are the simplest answer to your question young man.” she answered with a blink of her eye towards the little prince. Trying to understand the little prince just looked at her with a smile and said” You must be really tired doing those researches.” “I am sorry to disappoint you but honestly I do not get easily tired and I work hard to obtain answers to my questions which makes me enjoy studying.” she said and then continues explaining “I love the way I make my time worth it and not wasted.” Amazed and surprised the little prince told her “You act differently. You are different from those other people whom I have already encountered.” “Young man I thought you were tired. If I were you I would rest for I still need to travel a longer distance.” She said a little worried while serving the little prince a glass of cold juice. After drinking the little prince said “Thanks for the drink Jave I really want to stay and rest but I think I already need to go. And perhaps I have already rested while we were talking.” Then the little prince stood up and fixed himself to get ready to leave. “Really? Then I will not stop you from leaving my planet soon. Thanks for the visit. I really enjoyed our talk young man. By the way the planet where humans live is called Earth”, she said as she waved good bye to the little prince. “Please visit my planet again! Goodbye!”
The little prince left Jave’s planet at once. He really enjoyed talking to that little scientist whom he learned many things.
With a smile the little prince left the planet contentedly and happily. Then he headed north going to the planet of humans.

a. If I will organize the 100th Anniversary of The Little Prince Publication I will launch a writing contest for all ages which are divided in different categories depending on the contestant’s age. The topic that I selected is “Have I Met the Little Prince?” I choose such activity and topic because by writing a person can express how he understands the feelings of the little prince when he was only a child who does not like the expression of the adults that things happening in our lives are naturally matters of consequence. The topic means that even if you just red the story of the little prince you can reflect the settings and events in the story in your lives which makes yours and the little prince life connected.
b. The little prince, even if he is only a child he is acting mature when it comes to observations and inferences based on his experiences during his travels. The little prince acts childish when it comes to questions. Like a child he is always ask questions and won’t stop asking you the same questions until answered. I prefer recommending this book to adults. Even if the author said it is a children story, for me if adults would read and understand what massage the book is trying to tell children about the adults they might realize that there are times that adults get mistakes on how they lead their children to the right path.
c. The story showed and reflected the life of Antoine Marie Roger de Saint-Exupery as a life of a child who wants when he grows up he will become different from other adults but then he realized that he like the other adults when he met some children or young people in his life.
d. He was gone from the sight of the pilot when dawn came and the pilot believes that the little prince went back to his planet.
e. The pilot did not tell his companions about his experience in the desert with the little prince because he was sure that his companions will just laugh at him and will think that he is already crazy because of hunger and thirst.
f. 1. Your eyes can’t see the feelings of the person far or near from you but your heart can show you how the people around you feel.
2. When you did something wrong you are responsible of the damage done and if you have done something nice and wonderful you have the right to say that it is yours your work not other peoples work.
3. When you talk and say a comment and the person you are talking to will misunderstand you7r statement the person whom you are trying to send the important massage will hear a different explanation and will have hard feelings unto you.
4. Even if you look at a person badly and will try avoiding that person one day you will realize that the person you look down is the person you will look up someday.
5. Even you have no treasure such as money and gold you will realize that you will not be rich with those gold and money for they are always available. You will realize that you long rich with love and care from those people who you consider important.
6. Even if the person you love is away from you, you will not be sad because by remembering your past your will feel you are near to each other.

a. The king uttered the line” One must require from each one the duty which each one can perform” The statement of the king reflects the human life that no one can live alone which shows that teamwork is significant in one’s everyday life that one needs his neighbors which can help him in a difficult task and in return he help him in his own way.
b. The statement easy to understand but difficult to explain just like it’s meaning that it is much more difficult to criticize yourself upon knowing that you did something wrong than correcting a stranger when you met him and saw his old sense of style. This is because people look at themselves so high even if others say their humble.
c. This mean that a conceited people are those people who think they are idolized by many and in their career they only want to hear good reactions from their superior and to the people in their community. Actually they are not really deaf but are those people that can only accept compliments.
d. The irony of the statement is a person when he drinks the more he wants to forget his problem the more he will suffer from other problems. This shows that in true life people who want to get drunk to forget their problems just get more problems and even disturb other people’s life.
e. Because if one is rich he can buy more riches. This reflects the aspect of life that shows one person will not stop thinking of having more than what he have and will also not stop thinking of ideas of how he could get more than enough. This shows that one very important attitude which is commonly not found on us humans is the attitude of being contented of what you have.
f. The statement means that when you are given orders you do not need to think the orders or requests asked complicatedly but you must think that the order given is an instruction needed to be followed and is a very simple and easy thing you have to do.
g. The lamp lighter as he describes him as a hard working and is a good follower. I agree to how the little prince have describe the lamplighter for it is a good news that their are still people that are ready to give service in any time and always reminded that in his work there are certain rules he needs to follow.
h. The attitude shown by the geographer reflects the adults being very accurate on ones information and evidences are one of the needed information for the adults to believe in a child’s complaint. He also showed that an adult will be deaf hearing stories of another which is not part of her job or work.
i. The pilot describes the planet as horrible place to live place which adults and children cannot communicate in a way that they will understand each other. He also describe as a place of vain and sadness. I describe the planet we live in is a planet of God and human because if God was not live in this planet maybe the little prince will only criticize the planet but instead of criticizing he even learn a lesson from a wild fox.
j. He describes himself as dangerous and a wise animal because a king is an example of a wise and powerful person and he said he is more powerful than the finger of the king which the king uses to point to a servant to be able to let the servant do a request of his. This made him say that all the orders he make is done by him in the right way at the right time.
k. Our lives go to different paths and different situations which make our lives beautiful. There are times that we compare our lives with others because sometimes if we will not make good use of our lives it turns dry and lonely. The chapter reflects that ones life will gain experience when one gets thru a problem or happy moments.

a. The pilot’s life was greatly affected by the discouraging reactions and advices of the adults towards his drawings of the boa constrictor which could have been the key to his good fortune and magnificent career as a painter.
b. The little prince was only contented with the pilot’s drawing of the sheep when the pilot drew a simple box. This incident in the story just shows that contentment can be obtained by a simple action, gesture or even your simple doing in your everyday life.
c. The Turkish astronomer was not recognized by the people at first because he is not wearing the formal clothes which are expected to be worn of the people who have a high position in their community. This setting is already usual in our community and it tells me that adults give much importance only to the person which to them looks important.
d. The adults can say that a house is beautiful when the cost of it is very much expensive than theirs. This tells me that adults are big fans of figures and numbers which to them can already describe the beauty of an object.
e. Baobabs are huge trees that are as big as cattle. The baobabs reflect the sins of a person which should be taken while their still young by their parents who have the right and responsibility to discipline and serve as models to their children.
f. He reacted in a very angry way. He reacted so differently because he thinks that all things must be given importance that even adults should give much importance to a very little ant.
g. When a person is lonely he reaches to a secret place called “the land of tears” it a secret place because a lonely person wants to be alone and do not want to affect other people around him or he wants to avoid the person around him to also avoid other arguments.
h. The volcanoes represents humans which, each one have certain characteristics. The cleaning of the volcanoes is just like correcting a person when wrong which could lessen the damage that he might cause when in trouble or in an argument. One of the volcanoes is extinct which shows that one may be quiet or silent but you must be prepared and careful on how you treat him because maybe time will come that the person who is known to be silent is so dangerous when treated badly.
i. The little prince said the line” I must endure the presence of two or three caterpillars if I wish to be acquainted with the butterfly”. This shows that not all of what we think is bad is really made only to make trouble and danger in our lives but was also made to make our life more colorful and exiting.
j. The meaning of the statement is a simple gesture does not only mean a simple action but a simple gesture gives the answer to almost all of your questions. This is because every thing counts in even in a very small minuet happening very small place.
k. The little prince and the flower really showed care and love for each other as a friend. This is one of the strongest friendships ever made because each one really showed that they give much more importance to their partner’s safety than his own life and safety. They were loyal to each other and served each one by a simple action.
